Guy Bardone

Guy Bardone was born in 1927 in Saint-Claude, one of the most beautiful old towns in France. His vocation as a painter was confirmed after admission to the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. Here he trained under Brianchon, Canailles and Desnoyer. He was awarded the prestigious Prix Félix Fénéon in 1952 which set wider horizons and allowed him entry into the Paris arena.
